Northampton International Academy is looking for an Attendance Officer to join their team of dedicated support staff. The successful candidate will provide specialist service to assist the school in meeting their obligations and targets in relation to school attendance, investigating persistent absences and improving punctuality. They will monitor all students attendance daily and contact the parents/carers of any student who is not in school whose absence is unexplained. The successful candidate will also line manage the assistant attendance officer and two child and family support workers


The school is looking for someone who is extremely well organised, has the ability to prioritise work and ensure that strict deadlines are met. The ability to work on their own initiative and work within existing teams is essential. Candidates should have excellent communication skills and able to remain calm in a busy environment whilst maintaining confidentiality at all times.
