8.00 a.m. – 4.00 p.m. Mon – Fri (30 mins. unpaid lunch daily)

39 weeks per year (Term time + INSET)

Salary:                                              NJC5 (£23,500 FTE and £20372 pro rata for hours stipulated above)

 

 

Prince William School is seeking to appoint a reliable, organised, and diligent receptionist to work within the team of support staff in the school. The main role of the Student Receptionist is supporting students with enquiries, minor ailments and first aid incidents, as well as assisting the main receptionist with phone calls and visitors as necessary.  As Lead First Aider, the postholder will also manage stocks of first aid equipment for the school. Being a qualified first aider is essential for this role. The ability to use Outlook and other Microsoft software is also essential, as is a willingness to learn how to use other software packages.

 

The successful candidate will be able to work with confidential information and have a good understanding of confidentiality, GDPR, and safeguarding matters, although training will be provided. They will be able to communicate effectively with a wide range of people, including parents/carers, teachers, and students. They will need to be flexible, resilient, and will thrive working in a busy office environment.
