The Role

We are looking to appoint a Computer Science teacher who can teach Computer Science up to A level. The successful candidate will also lead the Computing, Business and Economics department, supported by a second in department who specialises in the subjects of Business and Economics. The successful candidate will be passionate about computing and have the drive to lead the department, focused on developing exciting and engaging learning experiences. This position would suit an ambitious teacher of computing looking for an opportunity to develop their leadership skills.

This is an exciting time for the school as examination results have seen rapid improvement and the school is expanding. In 2023, our KS4 attainment 8 was 48.9, 75% of our KS4 cohort achieved grade 4+ in both English and Maths, 52% achieved grade 5+ in both English and Maths. In KS5, we achieved 28% A* - A, and 79% A* - C, an average grade of B-, and an ALPS Quality Indicator score of 2.
