The Role

Examinations Assistant

 

Hours:                                            30 hours a week over 40 weeks a year (1200 hours per year).

Flexible working needed – longer days during exam periods (Nov/Dec, Feb/Mar, and May/June) and shorter days when exams are not on.

                                                         (30 mins unpaid lunch break each day)

 40 weeks per year (term time + INSET days + 5 days in August over GCSE and A level results days)

Salary:                                            NJC3 (currently £16, 171. 56 pro rata for hours specified)

Prince William School is seeking to employ an Assistant Examinations Officer to join our team of dedicated and friendly support staff. The successful candidate will work with the Examinations Officer to ensure the smooth running of exams throughout the year, including mock examinations as well as the externally set GCSE and A level exams in the summer term. The successful candidate will have excellent organisation and administration skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work within a team as well as under their own initiative. They will need to be able to work under pressure to tight deadlines and be able to lead a team of invigilators as necessary and be able to deputise for the Examinations Officer as required.
