The Role

As a new headteacher, I am delighted to be developing the school with a Head of Computing, Business and Economics leadership position. This role is to be shaped by the candidate and the responsibilities will be influenced by the skills and experience of the successful applicant. We have increasing student numbers and are very proud of our recent progress 8 score of estimated 0.41. This is a fantastic opportunity for an inspirational and ambitious leader to join our friendly, enthusiastic and energetic middle leadership team.


Are you able to teach Computer Science up to A level and looking to advance your career and develop your leadership skills? Then this is a fantastic opportunity for you. We are looking for a teacher of Computer Science who will teach mainly KS3 and KS4 Computer Science, but who also has the skills and ambition to lead the Computing, Business and Economics department. The successful candidate will lead other staff teaching computing and be supported by a second in department who teaches and leads Business and Economics. The successful candidate will be passionate about computing and have the drive to lead the department, focused on developing exciting and engaging learning experiences.
